Fåfyllning växellådsolja Mustang GT 2007

Featured Replies

  1. Using the scan tool, monitor the TFT PID.

  1. Start the vehicle.

  1. NOTE: Engine idle speed is approximately 650 rpm.

Run the engine until the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) is between 27°-49°C (80°-120°F).

  1. Move the selector lever slowly through each gear, stopping in each position and allowing the transmission to engage.

image

  1. Place the selector lever in the PARK position.

  1. With the engine running, position the vehicle on a hoist and set it as close to level as possible. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02.

  1. Hold the transmission fluid pan drain plug with a wrench and remove the transmission fluid pan drain plug (short hex).

image

  1. Install the Transmission Fluid Fill Tool into the pan.

image

  1. NOTE: Prior to filling the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector with transmission fluid, make sure that the canister is clean.

Fill the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector with automatic transmission fluid.

image

  1. Hang the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector under the vehicle. Position it upright and close to the transmission.

image

  1. Connect the Transmission Fluid Fill Tool and the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector.

    • Connect the open end of the fluid hose from the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector to the Transmission Fluid Fill Tool at the bottom of the transmission fluid pan.

image

  1. Apply a maximum of 206.85 kPa (30 psi) to the open end of the vacuum/pressure hose from the Rubber Tip Air Nozzle. Transmission fluid will immediately start flowing out of the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector into the transmission fluid pan.

image

  1. Add one pint of transmission fluid into the transmission fluid pan. Stop the process by releasing the air pressure and removing the Rubber Tip Air Nozzle from the end of the hose.

  1. Inspect the transmission fluid level in the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector. If the transmission fluid drains back into the canister, the transmission is full. If no transmission fluid drains back, more transmission fluid will need to be added. Repeat Steps 12 and 13.

  1. Once the transmission is full, place a hand vacuum pump from the Vacuum Pump Kit on the open end of the vacuum/pressure hose of the Fluid Transporter/Evacuator/Injector and apply vacuum to the system. This will pull out any extra transmission fluid trapped in the system and direct it into the container.

image

  1. Allow the transmission fluid to drain. Make sure that the transmission fluid temperature is between 27°-49°C (80°-120°F). When the transmission fluid comes out as a thin stream or drip, the transmission fluid is at the correct level.

image

  1. Reinstall the transmission fluid pan drain plug (short hex).

    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

image

  1. Check the operation of the transmission by moving the range selector lever slowly through each gear, stopping in each position and allowing the transmission to engage.
