Axialspel i servopump?

Är det normalt med ett axialspel på ca 1 mm? Bilen är en 3,8 L V6 2001.

Det förekommer ett intermittent knittrande missljud. Det kan gå lång tid med flera körningar mellan tillfällena då det hörs. Jag har trott att det beror på slitet löphjul (idler pulley), men kanske kan det vara axialspelet i pumpen?

Någon som känner igen problemet?
