Enligt US Ford så ska första tändstifts bytet göras efter 100 000 miles (160 000 km).

Original stiften var olika typer för vänster och höger sida.

Ska ha något att göra med anod offring.

 

På mina bilar med modular motorer (2003 Cobra,  Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln MKVIII) kör jag med NGK stift, billigaste varianten.

Dessa byter jag efter 1-2 tusen mil, kanske lite oftare på Cobran.
