November 5, 2025Nov 5 comment_188513 Ford Mustang Immersive Experience Install Underway Ahead Of Debut: VideoBy Brett FooteNovember 5, 2025 2:03 amAs Ford Authority reported back in August, a brand new immersive Ford Mustang experience is slated to open up soon in Los Angeles, California, dubbed "American Icon." The idea is to provide pony car fans with multi-sensory immersive environments, a group of legendary models from film and culture, as well as a 4D thrill ride - transporting attendees through Ford Mustang history, all with a dose of pony car culture throw in. Now, we're getting a better look at what this experience will consist of.In this recent post on X, Ford historian Ted Ryan posted a short video showing off some of what we can expect to see in the new Ford Mustang immersive experience, which he's on his way to LA to see in person. "Mustang Immersive is about to open," Ryan wrote. "The install is underway and I am on my way to LA tomorrow. It is looking amazing! The dark blue Mustang you see being pushed into place was used on the Mary Tyler Moore show!"The video shows off a variety of interesting Ford Mustang models that will be on display at American Icon, some of which will be featured in front of various backgrounds, it seems, along with lots of fancy-looking lighting and camera equipment. The experience promises to include an array of movie-famous Mustangs as well, and as for the 4D thrill ride, well, it's designed to take attendees on a trip on both the road and the track, behind the wheel of the iconic model. Those interested in purchasing tickets to the new American Icon experience can do so now by heading over here, with prices starting at $26. It's set to take place at Ace Mission Studios, which is located in Boyle Heights. Report
